This is what I've been working this past two weeks on the Gumbo Duel project!

Over the summer I worked on some models and textures for the music hall and for the music section for Elias. 

For the start of the semester I workshop a new cut-down version for the storyboard. I made the new boards for some altered scenes towards act 3. 

This week I started my first animated scene, which is going fine. It's still on the rough side.

Shrimp Model/Texture

This is for Elias' music section which is supposed to be a combination of 3D and 2D art. The textures are an exploration on how the stylization could look.

Rice, beans and sausage model/textures

This is for Elias' music section which is supposed to be a combination of 3D and 2D art. The textures are an exploration on how the stylization could look. 

I'm very proud of this one. I believe is a nice combination of realism and stylization. Enough to make it appetizing but not out of place. 

It was a challenge tho.

Boudin Ball Model/Texture

This is for Elias' music section which is supposed to be a combination of 3D and 2D art. The textures are an exploration on how the stylization could look. 

This one was very hard to get it to look the right texture. Even now, I still feel that it can improve massively. However, due to all the task list we have, this one we need to circled back to.

Chandelier Model

Glass chandelier for the music hall. It was a bit of a challenge since I'm not very good at modeling. Yet, I was surprised to see how well it turned out. I'm excited to see it textured and lighting in its full glory.
